What is the CSA Psychological Health and Safety Standard

The standard is a volunteer set of guidelines and provides for a strategic framework to address mental health in the workplace and is based on 13 psycho-social risk factors. The benefits of having a national standard is that it provides a basic guideline to what a psychological safe workplace could look like and provides a measurement so that employers can identify how they match up to the standards. The standard is developed to prevent psychological harm and promote psychological wellness in the workplace.
